What is hypertension and how to treat it? Actually, hypertension means high blood pressure. Science says that you can have high blood pressure (hypertension) for years without any symptoms. Even without symptoms, damage to blood vessels and your heart continues and can be detected. Unfortunately, this increases your risk of serious health problems, including heart attack and stroke.

Did you know that low blood pressure is better than high blood pressure? If you have low blood pressure, you are one of the luckiest people because you can increase the blood pressure with coffee, drinks. Otherwise, if you have high blood pressure, you can’t enjoy in so much coffee because too much coffee will double increase the blood pressure and this will additionally increase the risk of getting stroke and headache.

But don’t worry, in the 21 century, we can read which are the symptoms and learn how to control this condition named hypertension. Here are the symptoms that might save your life if you control hypertension on time:

Severe headache

The very first symptom that shows you have high blood pressure is a headache that might appear in any period of the day. Don’t ignore it, but ask for help.

Fatigue or confusion

The next symptom is that you can feel tired even if you slept all night. This is a sign that you have high blood pressure or hypertension. Make sure that the fatigue or confusion you have is a result of the high blood pressure, check the blood pressure.

Sometimes, problems with eyes tell us a lot of things and signs of several diseases. Vision problems are another sign of hypertension. Don’t forget to tell your doctor about this sign.

Chest pain – a sign of hypertension

The pain you feel in the chest could be another sign of hypertension. Or, it can be also signed that you have flu or bronchopneumonia. Check the blood pressure and make things clear.
